Poor demand sinks China methionine prices
Prices of methionine dipped further during the week ending June 25.
Sales of methionine remained poor in the domestic market, compelling traders to cut prices to clear mounting stocks.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine dropped to the range of RMB17.80-18.50/kg.
Domestic demand for methionine will stay weak amid prudent mood of feed producers.
