Commercial sites in Primorsky Krai, Russia, hit by ASF in May

African swine fever (ASF) hit two commercial sites belonging to company Rusagro in Primorsky Krai located in the Far East region of Russia.
The company affected a total of 103,179 susceptible animals.
According to reports by the World Organisation for Animal Health, the first outbreak was reported on May 10 on a farm with 53,503 susceptible pigs.
Later, on May 20, another outbreak was reported on the second farm with 49,676 pigs.
