More than 70,000 approved swine facilities in Argentina, based on records for 2023

Argentina has 76,737 swine facilities authorised by the National Agrifood Health and Quality Service (Senasa), according to Senasa records for this year.

A total of 5,887,401 pigs were registered in the National Sanitary Register of Agricultural Producers (Renspa).

By province, Buenos Aires has the largest number of establishments (14,815), followed by Córdoba (11,046) and Chaco (8,825).
