Evonik sees strong demand for feed nutrients during second quarter

German-based chemicals maker Evonik reported surging demand for its feed nutrients and absorbent materials in the second quarter, helping the company endure a COVID-19 affected economy, Reuters reported.

Harald Schwager, Evonik deputy chief executive said he is not concerned about the second quarter, referring to increased business with poultry farmers that use Evonik's feed additives

He said the Evonik group will take into account all strategic options regarding its absorbent materials business over the next few years, adding that the unit will be restructured.
