Hypor, one of the world's leading suppliers of pig genetics, has signed a distribution agreement with UBM Genetics, Hungary, for the distribution of Hypor breeding pigs in the Hungarian market.

In May 2012 the first Hypor animals were shipped to Hungary and next shipments are planned in June and July 2012. UBM Genetics is a newly established company that focuses on the sales and marketing of Hypor Genetics in Hungary. Launched in 1996, it is today the leading trading company in feed and raw materials. Besides importing protein and other additives, its activities involve the trade and export of corn, wheat, barley and oil seeds – mainly sunflower and rapeseed.

Szabolcs Csíkász, managing director UBM Genetics says, "The choice for Hypor is based on the worldwide leadership with superior genetics and tailor made products. UBM Genetics together with Hypor will take a leadership role in raising efficiency and profitability of the Hungarian pig production industry."
