Ukraine grain yield exceeds 2009 level

To date, yield indices of barley and wheat in Ukraine have exceeded the previous year indices, said Viktor Slauta, the vice Prime Minister on Agrarian Policy Issues of Ukraine, on Tuesday (June 22).

According to Slauta, the yield indices reached the high-yield level of the last year, and even exceeded the level by 1.5 c/hectares.

Ukrainian agrarians started the harvesting campaign of early grains, especially barley and wheat.
