Iowa-based feed company Diamond V announced that plans to build their second manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids are on schedule.

This new 28,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility will enable Diamond V to meet the rapidly growing global demand for proprietary products in all species of animals and aqua while also enhancing their ability to better service their customers and bring innovation to the marketplace. This facility will be fully operational in 2009.   

Diamond V expects to resume manufacturing capability with its existing plant soon.  Although the scale and severity of the Cedar Rapids flood was unprecedented, the company's clean-up and recovery plan is ahead of schedule. This plant will remain operational when the new facility comes on-line in 2009.
