China's Wheat Exports in May Down 52.1% to 129,486 MT
 

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China exported a total of 129,486 metric tons of wheat in May 2004, registering a significant year-on-year drop of 52.1%.

From January to May 2004, China's accumulative wheat exports were down by 14.8% to 490,298 tons, the Customs data shows.  Of the total exports, 96,789 were exported to South Korea, 22,550 tons to the Philippines, and 10,145 tons to Japan.
