CP Foods unveils digital innovations for sustainable agriculture

 

Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) unveiled new digital technology and agro-industry innovations at the CPF the NeXt Tech Show, CP Foods reported.

 

The event aims to empower CP Foods' business partners and farmers to embrace digitisation, transforming their practices and ensuring food security while promoting long-term sustainable development in the digital era.

 

Featuring over 100 state-of-the-art digital technologies, applications, and innovations for agriculture and livestock from more than 30 partner organisations across the globe, the event served as a platform to share knowledge among CP Foods' executives, agro experts, and customers nationwide.

 

The opening ceremony was led by Prasert Poongkumarn, vice senior chairman of CP Group, and Adirek Sripratak, chairman of the executive committee of CP Foods.

 

Rewat Hathaisattayapong, head of feed business at CP Foods, highlighted that the event commemorated the 70th anniversary of CP Foods' animal feed business. The conference and exhibition aimed to introduce the latest global agro-industrial technologies, equipping business partners for the digital world under the theme "Technology of the Future... for Sustainable Livestock Growth."

 

The two-day event featured exhibitions and knowledge-sharing sessions where participants could explore the latest in digital agriculture and gain valuable insights from leading IT and digital agriculture experts.

 

CP Foods has continuously applied innovation and technology to enhance feed production, ensuring the production of high-quality animal feeds that meet international standards and are distributed at fair prices to farmers, considering them as valued life partners.

At the NeXt Tech Show, more than 100 digital agriculture innovations from CP Foods' global partners were on display, inspiring feed business partners to adapt to the digital era. The event showcased advanced digital platforms and applications, including robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

 

Renowned IT experts and CP Foods' experts shared their insights during the Tech Talk segment, discussing strategies for navigating disruptions and sustaining growth. CP Foods' executives also presented their vision for elevating Thailand's agro-industrial sector to the top ranks of the global market. The company's operations integrate automation, ensuring an automated manufacturing process that meets international standards and is certified by independent third-party organisations.
