The average export price of frozen pangasius fillets to Mexico has increased from US$2.60 to US$2.75 USD per kg. Many pangasius businesses have relocated to Mexico from other markets. In this quarter, more than 30 Vietnamese seafood businesses exported pangasius to Mexico.
According to export value, the top three companies are IDI CORP, Vietnamfishco. ltd., and the Cuu Long fish joint-stock company. The export of pangasius to this market is being encouraged by pangasius processors in Dong Thap, An Giang, Ben Tre, Can Tho, and Vinh Long provinces.
