Prices of eggs and day-old chicks in China higher; weaker for pork
Prices of eggs and day-old chicks in May were higher than in April. However, there was a slight fall in the prices for pork products, beef, mutton and corn. Prices of live hogs and corn also dropped concurrently. As a result, the live hog to corn feed ratio remained at 6.19:1, much higher than the average of 5.5:1 over the past 22 months.
