UK premium feed supplier buys North Yorkshire site for new feed mill
I'Anson Brothers Ltd, a premium animal feed supplier in the United Kingdom, has bought a prime employment site in North Yorkshire, The Press reported.
13 acres at Dalton New Bridge (DNB), a commercial and industrial development, were acquired by the company for an undisclosed sum. I'Anson will soon start the construction of a state-of-the-art 23,000 sq ft feed mill and site service road at the area.
The investment is "very significant" for I'Anson, said managing director Chris I'Anson, who described the acquisition as a major part of the company's strategy "to secure 50-year further growth for the longer term sustainability of our business and the future generations of our employees, customers and family."
The new feed mill would be I'Anson's biggest investment yet. It will produce bulk farm feeds and provide up to 20 new jobs that add to the company's current 90-strong workforce.
"We explored a number of sites before making our decision but Dalton New Bridge won hands-down with its combination of location, proximity to the motorway network and the existence nearby of other world-class manufacturing businesses," Chris I'Anson said.
