China April '09 preserved eel exports down from year-ago level
                      


China exported 2,769 tonnes of preserved eel valued at US$34.69 million in April 2009, a decrease from the year ago period.

 

Meanwhile, the export in January-April reached 8,145 tonnes, valuing at US$102.219 million.
