Natural Biologics expands ruminant team for US northwest

US-based Natural Biologics, which provides natural solutions for agriculture producers to manage risk and improve the health and productivity of animals and crops, has appointed Chris Hansen as US northwest business development manager to the company's ruminant sales team.

In this newly created role, Hansen will work closely with dairy consultants and nutritionists throughout the US northwest and will be based in Idaho.

"Over the last eight years, the Natural Biologics portfolio of ruminant products has been improving rumen health and production efficiency across the Midwest and central US regions," said Dr. Charlie Elrod, co-founder and chief executive officer of Natural Biologics. "Now is the time to expand the team to bring more personalised attention to the cows in the Northwest. Chris brings energy and passion to the team while supporting the vision of integrity, innovation and partnership."

"I've grown up in the dairy and sales industries in Idaho and have a passion for the people and the cows," said Hansen. "I'm excited to bring these unique and proven products to Northwestern producers and also continue to learn from the dairy specialists at Natural Biologics."

Hansen has worked in dairy sales and construction for the last 10 years. He is currently finishing his business management degree.
