Canadian hatchery opens with Jamesway equipment

 

Canadian Okanagan Hatchery celebrated last month the grand opening of their new hatchery in the Okanagan Valley in Armstrong, British Columbia.

The new hatchery has 18 Platinum2 P60 Incubators and six Platinum2 P40 Hatchers. They will hatch four days a week which will net over 17 million chicks per year.

Jamesway’s sales director, Ken Long, attended the ceremony and congratulated owners Ron and Murdie Pollon on their state-of-the-art facility.

This is phase one of a two-phased project planning to double capacity, and first hatch is expected mid-summer.
