Record low prices stimulate methionine demand in China
Prices of methionine strengthened lately during the week ending June 20.
Feed millers took the opportunity to restock methionine inventories after prices fell to new lows in the previous week. Meanwhile, one major producer lifted prices amid tightened availability, prompting others to follow suit.
For liquid methionine, price quotes remained in the range of RMB16.50-17/kg.
