China lysine producers stand firm on improved export demand

Lysine prices remained stable during the week ending June 19.

Demand for lysine remained soft despite strengthened prices of hog, as inclusion rates were low due to weak soymeal prices.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB4.70-5/kg.

With hog feed producers treading prudently and inclusion rates of lysine low, the upward potential of the market will be limited.

RMB1=US$0.1464 (Jun 20)
