Philippines buys 45,000 tonnes of Argentine soybean meal
A group of Philippine feed millers, poultry and livestock raisers bought 45,000 tonnes of soybean meal from Cargill at US$44.50/tonne, cost and freight basis, over September futures at the Chicago Board of Trade, traders said Thursday (Jun 14).
The soymeal will be for shipment between Aug 20-Sep 10 this year, traders said, adding that the transaction was completed Wednesday.
The soybean meal will come from Argentina, they said.
