An eFeedLink Exclusive
Market analysis
With hog feed production low and soymeal market staying weak, feed producers were not eager to place order for lysine. Supply remained abundant although several producers halted operation for routine plant maintenance.
Export prices of 70-percent lysine softened to US$0.55/kg.
Lysine prices are seen stable to lower as demand remains soft. Traders are likely to lower prices, albeit marginally, in a bid to close deals.
