Diamond V thanks feed industry for concern during Midwest flood

Press Release

Diamond V Mills, an Iowa-based feed company, is extending its thanks to all that are concerned of and have expressed a desire to help in the Midwest flood.

Diamond V greatly values these communications from friends and associates throughout the feed and animal industries.

The flood has affected thousands of residents and hundreds of businesses, including Diamond V. The good news is the floodwaters are receding allowing business owners to assess damage and begin to restore operations.

Last week, as the Cedar River continued to rise, Diamond V took proactive steps to build additional inventory in the event of an emergency. The company removed critical equipment from the flood zone and established offsite headquarters to handle administrative needs and to assure the continuation of quality service for Diamond V customers. Finally, Diamond V activated the company's disaster contingency plan to restore full manufacturing capability as quickly as possible.

Diamond V's number one priority is to supply their customers with quality products and services in a timely manner. Diamond V is striving toward full recovery despite the scale and severity of the unprecedented Cedar Rapids flood. The company will keep their customers informed of developments and work to restore its excellent service.

Diamond V is the world's leading supplier of fermented yeast products used to optimise digestive function and nutrition key to animal and aqua health, productivity, efficiency and profitability. Diamond V's original Yeast Culture has been a trusted feed ingredient component for 64 years and is marketed in more than 40 countries worldwide.
