Aviagen strengthens international management team

 

 

 

 

In this new role, Tom will continue to work closely with Bob Dobbie, President of International Business, who is responsible for all of Aviagen's activities in Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. Tom will continue in his role of Business Manager for Turkey, Middle East and Africa but will also work with the other Business Managers to coordinate the growing Aviagen activities and enhance the service provided to customers across the international region. Some of the key aspects of Tom's role will be to oversee the development of Aviagen personnel within the region along with implementation of successful business practices.

 

Tom joined Aviagen in 1990 in the pedigree production department. He also worked in Aviagens internal great grandparent operation before becoming an International Technical Service Manager in 1997, working with customers in Scandinavia and Iran. In 2000 Tom took over as Regional Technical Manager for Turkey, Middle East and Africa and assumed the role of Business Manager for the region four years later. Toms experience and knowledge of production, technical, commercial and business management roles will serve him well as a key member of the International Management Team.
