Vietnam's Vinh Hoan tops pangasius exports in Jan-Apr
Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Co. (VHC) took lead among domestic pangasius exporters between January and April with export volume of 12,347 tonnes valued at US$36.5 million, said the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
VASEP said the company reportedly gained export turnover of around US$10 million to US$11 million in May.
Nam Viet Joint Stock Co (ANV) ranked the third with export volume of 14,674 tonnes worth US$28.109 million in the period.
An Giang Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Co (AGF) stayed at the ninth with total export turnover in the first four months of US$10.68 million.
In the first four months this year, Vietnamese business exported 162,900 tonnes of pangasius products valued at US$373.6 million, up 0.2 percent in volume but down 1.2 percent in value against the same period last year.
