Light trade holds China methionine prices soft
Prices of methionine were stable to lower during the week ending June 14.
As poultry products prices remained soft, demand for feed continued to be limited. With demand sluggish and inventories piling, methionine sellers cut prices, albeit marginally, in efforts to move sales.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine dipped to the range of RMB18.50-19.20/kg, lower by RMB0.10-0.40/kg.
