SINOMACH, UkrLandFarming set up livestock operation in Ukraine
UkrLandFarming (ULF) and China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which includes plans to build a 400,000 tonnes pork production base in Ukraine and a chicken production base with an annual output of 600,000 tonnes.
In addition, a seaport with the capacity to upload five million tonnes of grains each year will be built in the Black Sea Region, mainly to handle shipments to China.
The Sino-Ukrainian agricultural project will help to satisfy the needs of the Chinese agriculture market.
SINOMACH is a state-owned enterprise established in January 1997, approved by the State Council and administered by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It is one of the global 500 enterprises.
Ukrlandfarming PLC operates as an integrated agricultural producer engaging in grain growing and cattle breeding. Based in Nicosia, Cyprus with operations in Ukraine, the company also produces beef and milk.
