Wilmar International to set up grain processing zones in China
According to authorities in China's Heilongjiang province, Singapore-based Wilmar International will be setting up two grain and oil processing zones in Harbin and Jixi. The two cities are located in Heilongjiang province.
Wilmar will invest RMB300-400 million during the first phase of the Harbin project and RMB300 million for the first phase of the Jixi project. The Group's existing RMB600-million investment in Heilongjiang includes four grain and oilseed processing complexes.
