China has shown a keen interest in Pakistani seafood and has even increased imports in recent days. The varieties of seafood products that could be exported to China indicate the huge market potential for Pakistani seafood.

China's WTO entry, increasing population, growing demand from the country's higher income residents and higher consumption per capita, are expected to push both the volume and value of seafood imports to higher levels.
