Mexico inaugurates new animal diseases center
Mexico's National Reference Center for the Diagnosis and Research of Exotic and Emerging Animal Diseases was inaugurated on the 75th anniversary of the Mexico-US Commission for Prevention of Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Other Exotic Animal Diseases (CPA).
Described as the capital for animal health in the Americas, this center is a benchmark for cooperation and joint work between the United States and Mexico.
It has highly secure facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, according to the National Agro-Alimentary Health, Safety, and Quality Service (SENASICA).
