Adisseo announces management changes
Jean-Marc Dublanc, Innovation, marketing and sales director of Adisseo, a world leader in additives for animal feed, will become chief executive officer of the company on July 1.
He succeeds Gérard Deman who will become president of the Board of Directors on the same date.
"After strengthening our management team in recent years, we will be able to make the transition while maintaining the stability of our management," said Gérard Deman. "Jean-Marc Dublanc has contributed to the development of Adisseo for four years and, in agreement with the BlueStar Group, I wanted him to lead the company," he added.
In this new organisation, Gérard Deman will keep several operational responsibilities for strategic projects and investments, especially the construction of the Adistar plant in China. He will also remain a board member of the Bluestar Group, Adisseo's parent company.
Jean-Marc Dublanc, 56, joined Adisseo in 2006. He has developed and introduced new tools and processes for sales management, customer relations and price management which have greatly contributed to the company's recent performance. After starting out at Indosuez bank, he joined the finance department of Rhône-Poulenc group. He then held operational and management positions in several subsidiaries in Europe and the US overseeing sales, research and production teams on a great variety of product ranges for the detergent, cosmetics and human food markets. In the food market, he headed up a subsidiary of the group for 10 years before moving to Adisseo.
Gérard Deman, 64, a chemical engineer, has been with Adisseo for about ten years successively as COO, Senior Vice-President and then Chief Executive Officer since 2006. He started out at Péchiney Ugine Kuhlman (PCUK) in 1971 and spent most of his career within the Rhône-Poulenc Group from 1983 onwards. There, he held various positions of responsibility in research, production, human resources and sales.
