Spot supplies of corn remained tight as the state reserves corn would enter the market only towards middle of the month. Consequently, corn prices remained firm over the week despite limited demand.
 
Corn prices averaged RMB2,100/tonne, rising RMB16/tonne or 0.79% compared with the previous week.
