Hatching new business at Livestock Asia 2005 Expo & Forum

 

 

As the region's fastest growing international tradeshow for the feed and livestock industry, Livestock Asia 2005 Expo & Forum is shaping up to be the best ever. Hosted by the Department of Veterinary Services with support from the Federation of Livestock Farmers' Association, Malaysia, this biennial event is widely recognised as one of the region¡¯s premier feed and livestock events, expected to welcome over 6000 delegates and visitors representing farmers, processors, feed millers, veterinaries and distributors to the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Mines Resort City, from September 27-29, 2005.

 

Livestock Asia 2005 looks set to be the top regional forum to address the issues and changes facing the industry in Asia today. Major integrators, processors and farmers from across the region will be there to examine new technology and processes to improve productivity, food safety and bio-security. The biggest names in the livestock industry are ready to capitalise on the tremendous business opportunities generated at Livestock Asia 2005. Set to be 50 percent bigger, the list of exhibitors confirmed is truly impressive as it covers the complete range of products including vaccines, feed additives, antibiotics, feeds / feedmilling equipment, breeders, incubators, broiler / layer equipment, drinkers, meat processing equipment, flavouring / additives, meat packaging, meat and meat products and livestock.

Nominations now on for livestock industry awards

 

Once again, the industry's most anticipated events - the 3rd Asian Livestock Industry Award and the 3rd Malaysian Livestock Industry Awards will be held concurrently with Livestock Asia 2005 Expo & Forum. The awards recognise top personalities and companies and their initiatives that have contributed significantly to the development of the livestock sector. Co-organised by the Asian Poultry Magazine with the endorsement of the Department of Veterinary Services, these prestigious awards are designed to promote the development of the livestock and meat processing industries in Malaysia.
