Surge in Russian wheat exports
 

According to the Russian Federal Customs Service , Russian wheat exports from January to April 2005 increased to US$213.8 million from US$25.8 million for the same period in 2004.

Meanwhile, wheat export volume rose from 144.9 thousand tonnes to 1.7 million tonnes.
