Victam: Registration open for complete event for animal feed technology and nutrition in Latin America

The Victam Corporation announced that the visitor registration is now open for the first Victam LatAm 2023 event taking place on October 3-5 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil.

The event, which is focused on all segments of animal feed production, is co-located with two dedicated events for flour processing and handling events, GRAPAS and GEAPS.

Victam LatAm will feature a wide range of exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations and services in the industry. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of informative seminars and presentations by industry experts. The Victam Corporation is committed to providing both exhibitors and visitors with the highest quality of experience possible and is confident that the event will be of excellent value to all those attending.

"The importance of the LATAM Region for our business and our wish to be as close to the market as possible, this makes our decision to participate in Victam LATAM an obvious one," said a global market communication manager at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel.

"Stimulating (sector) development, promoting business and exchanging information are among the purposes of ABPA," said the president of the Brazilian Association for Animal Proteins (ABPA). "It is in this sense that the entity supports Victam LatAm 2023, an important initiative that comes in line with events that promote the production value chain, with business opportunities and technical improvement".

The purpose of Victam LatAm is to fill the gap in the Latin American market convening prominent professionals to exchange ideas on the latest developments in animal feed and foster collaboration and networking opportunities among professionals in the field.

With the support of Victam Corporation's network in feed technology and animal feed processing along with a strong GEAPS network in grain handling, a conference programme supported with seminars, workshops and roundtable sessions will be organised. These events serve as platforms to gather key knowledge for businesses. Topics will include aquafeed, animal nutrition, feed technology, grain handling, packaging, petfood, grain handling and sustainable soy production.

In addition, several exhibitors will take the opportunity to organise a technical seminar.

Additionally, Wageningen University, supported by the VICTAM Foundation, will host the third International Feed Technology Congress in parallel to the event.

On behalf of the scientific, advisory and organisation committee of the congress, students, professors, researchers and professionals are invited to participate. The aim of IFTC 2023 is to bring together parties from research institutions and the industry to exchange knowledge and expertise, and share technical and scientific developments in the fields of animal feed technology. The event's objective is to provide a vehicle to enhance cooperation between industry and research institutions and to allow creation of innovative projects and collaborations.

The congress will see thematic presentations by international keynote speakers from Brazil, Chile and Uruguay along with oral and poster presentations.

The themes of the congress include:

     - Issues related to animal nutrition and feed technology in Europe;

     - Recent developments in pig and poultry nutrition;

     - Major challenges for the South American dairy cattle industry;

     - Mycotoxin control and feed safety in South America.
