Vitamin E markets stayed weak amid slack demand.

NHU has scheduled to halt operation for 8-9 weeks starting mid-June for routine maintenance.

While export price softened to US$11.30/kg, vitamin E prices in the local market dropped to the range of RMB75.70-87/kg.

In Europe, price quotes of vitamin E slid to the range of EUR9.90-10.20/kg.

Production drop will lend some support to vitamin E market in the coming weeks.
