Russia begins inspection of Ukraine's meat and dairy enterprises

 

 

The Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) has started the assessments of 32 Ukrainian meat and dairy enterprises, according to the chairman of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service, Ivan Bisiuk.

 

He noted that during these two weeks, 14 inspectors will be checking Ukrainian companies for compliance with the terms of customs union within the Common Economic Space to get permission to export to these countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan).

 

In particular, the inspection are proposed for the following meat-processing  factories; Zahotservis (Ternopil region), Spartak (Volyn region), Lityne meat-processing factory (Vinnytsia region), PKP Priluki Ahropererobka (Chernihiv region), APK Invest (Donetsk region), Konotopmiaso (Sumy region), VMP (Volyn region), Druzhba Narodov Nova (Autonomous Republic of Crimea), Elitex (Donetsk region), Ermii (Cherkasy region), Svizhenka (Chernivtsi region), Zeus LTD (Rivne region), Zaria meat-processing factory (Rivne region), Zahotsbyt (Ternopil region), Tavr Plus (Donetsk region), and the Pereyaslavskii experimental combine of milled and hulled products (Kyiv region).

 

Moreover, they will also inspect the following poultry packing houses; Agromars Complex (Kyiv region), the Sniatynska Nova poultry factory (Ivano-Frankivsk region), the Meat-Processing Complex LTD (Dnipropetrovsk region).

 

Additionally, the following dairy enterprises will be assessed; InterFood (Kryzhopl, Vinnytsia region), Tekhmolprom (Poltava region), Molis production association (Zaporizhia region), the Bila Tserkva Dairy Combine (Kyiv region), the Khmelnytskyi creamery depot, Wimm-Bill-Dann Ukraine (Kyiv region), Kupiansk Canned Milk Combine (Kharkiv region), the Kharkiv dairy combine, the Zvenihorod cheese combine (Cherkasy region), Milk House (Dnipropetrovsk region), Lityne Dairy Combine (Vinnytsia region), Zhashkiv Butter Factory (Cherkasy region), Ichnia Canned Milk Combine (Chernihiv region).

 

Today (Jun 7), 63 Ukrainian enterprises are allowed to export their products to the territory of the customs union.

 

According to the media, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin assumed that Russia could impose trade protection measures in case of introduction of free trade area between Ukraine and the EU.

 

On April 7, President Viktor Yanukovych expected participation of Ukraine in customs union within the CES, denoting the format as 3+1.
