Canada and US pork sectors to enhance relationship

The vice-chair of Manitoba Pork Council suggested having cooperative efforts targeted at solving common challenges are crucial to strengthen relations between the Canadian and US pork sectors.

A delegation representing Manitoba Pork Council will travel to Des Moines, Iowa this week to take part in World Pork Expo.

Manitoba pork Council vice-chair Rick Bergmann said members of the delegation, which will include members of the organisation's executive and staff, will be meeting with representatives of US national and state pork organisations as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relations and promote trade.
