China confirms ASF outbreak in Yunnan

China has reported a new outbreak of African swine fever in Yongsheng county in the northwest of Yunnan province, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Friday, reported Reuters.

The outbreak, which occurred on a farm of 102 pigs near the prefecture-level city of Lijiang, is the first to be reported in the province since November 2019.
