Finland's pork production decrease by 4% in April

 

 

Finland's pork production fell by 4% to approximately 15.5 million kilogrammes in 2012 as compared to the previous year, as stated by the statistic of Finland's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

 

The demand for pork is estimated to exceed production in 2012 for the first time in many decades.

 

According to statistics, the consumer price of pork rose by the annual rate of around 9% in April 2012, due to the decrease in production and producer prices increased by the rate of 6%.
