Degussa publishes customer magazine AMINONews for feed industry

Degussa's Feed Additives Business Unit has published the first 2007 edition of its customer magazine AMINONews for the compound feed industry.


Dr Robert Payne's contribution: The Potential for Using Low Crude Protein Diets for Broilers and Turkeys, Part 1  - A Literature Review, provides a review of current knowledge about reducing crude protein levels in feed. The last few years have seen substantial progress in the field of reducing crude protein in broiler nutrition and this comprehensive review enables the reader to realise the benefit of lowering crude protein.

 

The other two articles are: 

    • Responses of Male BUT Big 6 Turkeys to Changing Amino Acid Supply, by Dr Andreas Lemme 

    • Integrating Gastrointestinal Physiology with Nutrition in the Post-Weaning Pig, by Professor John Pluske 

Featured as 'Research Highlights', the magazine also reports on current developments and latest scientific publications on amino acids for animal nutrition.
