China Methionine Weekly: Prices stable as global producers stand firm (week ended Jun 5, 2017)
Prices of poultry products were weak amid sluggish post-Dragon Boat Festival demand. Moreover, reports of new cases of human infection of H7N9 bird flu in the northwest resulted in poorer demand for chicken products. Consequently, feed millers held back methionine purchases while limiting poultry feed output.
