Aviagen: Pure Breed engages with customers, professionals at Middle East Poultry Expo in Saudi Arabia

Pure Breed, Aviagen's Ross® Parent Stock (PS) distributor for Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and Yemen, recently exhibited at the third Middle East Poultry (MEP) Expo at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on May 13-15.

The event is the largest poultry exhibition in Saudi Arabia. This years' expo saw 320 exhibitors from 40 countries and over 11,000 visitors from 56 countries.

Aviagen team members were in attendance at the event alongside the Pure Breed team and  engaged with current and potential customers from Saudi Arabia and surrounding countries, the company said.

Moeen Alkhatib, chief executive officer of Pure Breed, said: "This is the third MEP that we have exhibited at and it is continuously growing each year. Saudi Arabia is the best location for the expo due to it being the largest poultry producer in the Middle East and Africa, and the third global consumer of meat and poultry. The expo was a great opportunity to meet and spend time with our customers and also to meet industry professionals. We look forward to witnessing the growth of MEP in years to come.

Breed at the show, with attendance from myself, Bulent Tanyildizi, business manager (MENA), and Courtney Houldsworth, marketing manager (TMEA). We met with our direct customers from countries within the region including Oman, Iraq, Jordan andLebanon, and also had the chance to visit with local broiler and breeder companies.
