Zambia's Zambeef to construct US$9 million meat factory in Nigeria
Zambian firm Zambeef will build a US$9 million m eat processing plant in Nigeria's South-west Ogun state, the state government said in a statement.
It said the Zambian firm was working with the office of the Economic Adviser to the state governor on the modalities of taking over the defunct Ikenne dairy far m in the state.
The statement quoted the co-managing directors of the Zambia firm, Carlos Irvin and Frederick Grogan, as saying they chose to set up the firm in Ogun state due t o its "favourable business climate".
Governor Gbenga Daniel said the planned investment was in line with his government's plan to turn the state into the country's top destination for investment and a hub of business activities.
