Breakdown Of Offers At Egypt Sunoil, Soyoil Tender
 
A sunoil and soyoil tender Wednesday by Egypt's Medi-Trade attracted best offers for 10,000 tons of sunoil at $624 a metric ton on a cost and freight basis and 10,000 tons of soyoil at $577/ton C&F for second half of July arrival from Cargill, a trader participating in the tender revealed.
 
Cargill offered also offered Medi-Trade 10,000 tons of sunoil at $614/ton C&F and 10,000 tons of soyoil at $567/ton C&F on the condition that the Cairo based privately owned company buy both together, the trader said.
 
Cargill also made a separate offer of 20,000 tons of soyoil at $570/ton C&F for second half of July arrival even though Medi-Trade tendered only for 10,000 tons of sunoil and 10,000 tons of soyoil.
 
Nidera made the second best offer for 10,000 tons of sunoil at $654.90/ton C&F and 10,000 tons of soyoil at $576/ton C&F for second half of July arrival, the trader said.
 
Medi-Trade last imported vegetable oils on April 6, securing 8,000 tons of sunoil from Nidera at $661.85/ton C&F and 8,000 tons of soyoil from Glencore at $648.65/ton C&F for second half of May delivery.
