EU grants 4,150 tonnes free market wheat at EUR6.00/tonne
The European Union grain management committee Thursday (Jun 1) granted 4,150 tonnes of subsidised wheat from the free market in its weekly tender Thursday, EU figures show.
The wheat was granted with a maximum refund of EUR6.00.
Traders had issued a total 9 bids for a combined total 60,150 tonnes of export licenses for refunds between EUR5.00/tonne and EUR9.50/tonne.
In the previous tender the EU granted 79,000 tonnes at a maximum rebate of EUR6.25/tonne.
There were no bids to export free market barley or oats.
