China Trace Minerals: Tepid demand weighs on prices (week ended May 31, 2021) 

Limited hog feed sales curtailed the demands for trace mineral products. Producers were inclined to lower export prices while renminbi appreciated lately.

Export prices and local transact prices of ferrous sulphate were at US$0.19/kg and RMB1.22-1.25/kg respectively.

For zinc sulphate, export prices stayed soft at US$1.15/kg.

While export prices were soft at US$0.60/kg, manganese sulphate was transacted in the range of RMB3.75-3.84/kg in China.

The upward scope of trace mineral markets will be limited due to lackluster hog feed demand.
