China VD3: Poor demand sinks prices (week ended Jun 1, 2020)

Producers who were eager to clear piling inventories slashed prices lately to stimulate sales. Demand remained limited, however, as feed producers cut output while the livestock markets suffered severe price falls. Compared with a year ago, vitamin D3 prices were 18% lower.
Vitamin D3 market is set to stay soft as sales are unlikely to strengthen in the near term.
