Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange to launch rapeseed futures in June/July
Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange may offer rapeseed and rapeseed meal and glass futures in June or July, the China Securities Journal reported Thursday (May 31) from unidentified industry sources.
The bourse, one of China's four futures exchanges, plans to "fast-track" the debut of these derivatives, it said.
State-run Xinhua News Agency said in April that the Zhengzhou bourse will offer trading in rapeseed and rapeseed meal futures "soon," without specifying a likely timeframe.
The Shanghai Futures Exchange introduced silver futures this month, after launching lead futures last year.
