Kazakhstan's grain excess reaches 9.3 million tonnes
The remaining grain crops of Kazakhstan totalled 9.3 million tonnes, as of May 1, announced Eugene Aman, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazahstan.
He believes that the country will manage to export 4.5 million tonnes of grains, and nearly five million tonnes will be the carry-over stocks in the beginning of the new MY, said Aman.
According to the Executive Secretary of the Ministry, in the current MY the Government subsidised exports of 2.5 million tonnes of grains in China and the Black Sea directions. In the current year Kazakhstan already exported nearly 45,000 tonnes of grains to China.
