All CME dairy product prices fall
Batavia, NY – Dairy products were under pressure this week at the CME with every product category posting declines. Ahead of Memorial Day, milk is heavy, and market sentiment is increasingly mixed. That's not unusual for this time of year with milk production at its seasonal peak. This weekend, milk is being dumped in the Northeast. And in the Midwest, USDA's "Dairy Market News" reported spot milk selling for as much as $6.00 below Class Prices – a 12-week low.
