China lysine prices dip amid a confluence of factors

Lysine prices dropped significantly during the week ending May 29.

Feed millers limited feed output for the sector, hence impeding the sales of lysine. As inventories mounted amid excess supplies, lysine producers cut prices substantially in attempts to entice buyers.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were softer at RMB5.10-5.50/kg.
