Boehringer Ingelheim Malaysia holds business forum with key poultry producer
 

On May 3, 2017, the Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) Business Forum was conducted with the theme "Growth of online retailing for food products" in Malaysia. 

Dr. Kok-yen Kam, Head of Animal Health for BI Malaysia, welcomed the 40 participants from a leading poultry producer in Malaysia. Dr. Kam also presented to the group facts about the newly created BI company with Merial.

Professor David Hughes, a food marketing specialist and professor from the United Kingdom, then discussed with the delegates the current trends in the food industry, new developments in food retailing and the growth of online retailing for food products and how it will impact the company's business in Malaysia. Professor Hughes also provided them with some insights on how to further develop the poultry producer's online retailing strategy.
